West KY Fellowship of Christian Athletes is excited to announce that we are offering two $1,000 scholarships to senior students participating in their FCA high school campus huddle in McCracken County. Criteria for the scholarships will be based on the student’s FCA involvement (in ways other than just being involved in their campus huddle), community impact, financial need, and leadership, both on and off the field. Each scholarship will be a one year, non-renewable scholarship.
Qualifications for Scholarship Candidates:
*Candidates must meet each of the following qualifications:
- A high school senior who will be continuing their education at a two- or four-year institution for the 2025-2026 school year
- A born-again Christian actively involved in a local church and his/her high school’s FCA Huddle
- Demonstrates a commitment to service in Christian leadership
- A person of integrity, honesty and faithfulness
- Demonstrates a consistent Christian witness in their school and community
How to Apply:
To be considered, each application must include the following (An application will not be considered complete until all components have been received):
· A completed scholarship application (application can be downloaded from westkyfca.org/scholarship)
· A personal testimony (one page minimum, not to exceed two pages) written by the candidate including:
o His/her faith story
o How FCA has impacted his or her Christian walk
o Why and how Christian leadership is important in his/her life, both on and off the field
· Letter of recommendation from the candidate’s high school FCA Huddle Leader
· Letter of recommendation from a pastor or youth leader well acquainted with the candidate (but not related to the candidate)
